Communication:
Please let us know if things change with your students’ daily routines. As things get busy, we want to make things as easy as possible for our students, families, and staff by providing a safe and fun environment.
We will email and post changes and updates for Colt’s Round-Up as needed.
If you have any questions you can contact your student’s building secretary or:
Tony Yungeberg, Director: tyungeberg@valleyheights.org or 785-363-2211
Dismissal:
Pick-up will be at 5:30 in both Waterville and Blue Rapids.
Blue Rapids students will load and dismiss from Waterville grade school at 5:20 with the bus leaving at approximately 5:25. Students that are being picked up at the Blue Rapids grade school need to be picked up as soon as the bus arrives, no later than 5:40.
We have a fantastic staff! All of them have families, school, and busy lives as well.
PLEASE BE ON TIME TO PICK UP YOUR STUDENTS
When picking up students at either location PLEASE use the CROSSWALKS. Safety is our #1 concern and is something we mention daily to your students.
If you have any pick-up changes for your students please let us know by 4:30 if at all possible.
Behavior and student expectations:
Colt’s Round-Up is an opportunity for students to learn, socialize, and interact with peers and a caring group of high school students and adult staff. We’re loud, sometimes we’re a little goofy, and sometimes it seems chaotic! WE HAVE FUN!!
We have fun but we also follow the guidelines that our students follow during the school day.
This includes:
Antibullying guidelines
VHS Character Development
Playground rules
Bus Rules
To attend Colt’s Round-Up students are expected and required to follow these guidelines.
