DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. “Do what makes you happy, not what others want you to do.” This quote from Kayla Bigham truly speaks to who she is as a person and how kind and affectionate she is to people, and her horses.
Kayla Renae Bigham was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas on October 4th, 2005. Kayla’s parents are Angie and Lee Bigham, and her step mom Janelle. Her siblings are Isabelle, Kenny and Elijah.
Kayla’s favorite quote is, “Friendship isn't about who you've known the longest, it's about who came and never left your side.” Micks Leo Bar, Kayla's horse, has always been there for her and makes the biggest impact on her life. “He knows me better than anyone, when you have a bond like that, it can never be broken.”
Kayla’s favorite high school memory is when the volleyball team was in the locker room before practice and Audra went to put her volleyball shoe on and felt something inside, she reached in and out jumped a huge spider. The spider was going around the locker room until someone threw a shoe at it. An accomplishment that Bigham is most proud of is when she received 13-17 Grand Champion Performance in 2021. Kayla wants to be remembered as the girl who took her camera everywhere she went.
Kayla's future plans are to attend Kansas State University’s vet program, and after graduating to work at a clinic as a vet. In 10 years she sees herself two years out of college with a house of her own!
