I WON’T FAIL. Edward Conner Christensen, better known as Eddie, was born to Amber and Greg Christensen on October 22, 2005 in Waterville, Kansas. Eddie’s parents play a major part in his life. Eddie says, “They have supported me through everything and they want to see me succeed.” In his four years of high school, Eddie has been involved in FFA for four years, robotics, track, and cross country for one year. Outside of the school, Eddie is involved with the St. Mark's youth group and Boy Scouts, which he has achieved the Eagle Scout ranking.
During his time at Valley Heights, Eddie has always tried to be at his best. His favorite quote reflects this. “Do your best, because if I try my best to my ability, I won’t fail,” Eddie says this is his favorite quote because it pushes him to always do his best.
In his spare time, Eddie prefers either gaming or hanging with his friends and family. When he’s out with his family he likes to go out and eat seafood like Mahi Mahi and even swordfish. Once he graduates, Eddie plans to work in construction out of high school. His plans for the future is to possibly own his own construction business and build his own house in a small town. Eddie’s most proud accomplishment is going to FFA judging in Wamego.
When Eddie leaves the Valley Heights community, Eddie wants to be remembered as someone who always tried his hardest and as one who was always together with his classmates. When asked what advice he would give to the underclassmen, Eddie says, “Treasure your time at school, keep up on your homework and classes. It is all over in a blink of an eye.”
