A Behind the Scenes Look at the Riley County Tournament. At the Riley County tournament the Mustangs went 2-3. They played Chapman, Jefferson County North, Great Bend, Riley County, and Clay Center. When being asked about the competition at the tournament, Coach Miller says, “we beat Chapman and Jefferson County North very easily in two. Great Bend and Clay Center were some tough teams so it was fun to see that competition.” Senior Anne Toerber agreed that the competition is fierce, stating “I think it is good to keep going to this tournament because these are teams and game-like situations that we are going to see in the postseason and hopefully at state.”
