GIRLS TAKE THE FIELD. BOYS TAKE THE COURT. Spikefest and Powderpuff took place on Wednesday, September 18th followed by the FCA dinner at 7:00. For both events, the teams were Seniors and Freshman vs Juniors and Sophomores. The Junior and Sophomore boys won volleyball in 2 sets, 15-13 and 16-14. The Junior and Sophomore girls won Powderpuff 42-0.
Senior Cayden Dummermuth said that getting to play volleyball was his favorite thing about Spikefest. He also coached Powderpuff, but said it was definitely not his thing and that he wasn't used to it. When Cayden was asked who he thought had the most fun he said “ I think both the girls and boys did, because the boys got to play volleyball and the girls got to play football.”
Freshman Macy Stoudt said that all the funny plays we did during Powderpuff was her favorite thing about the game. When asked what the most challenging thing was about Powderpuff she said “trying to get a touchdown was the most challenging thing about the game.”
