Seniors

Identity. The Valley Heights Volleyball Team had their final regular season home game last Tuesday, where they celebrated Parent's Night. Parent's night is a tradition where we honor the senior’s years of playing and the people who supported them season after season. Four players were recognized; Anne Toerber, Tessa Miller, Lilly Busey, and Haily Stoudt.

Senior Anne Toerber says,“That night was a great way to end my volleyball career at Valley Heights with my family. It was just really nice to honor the people that got me to where I am today.” Senior Haily Stoudt says, “It was sad for me because this was the one year that my sister and I got to play together. I also made connections with so many people that I didn’t think I would have made.” Senior Tessa Miller says, “It was an emotional night because it was the last time playing on this court in front of our community. Just realizing that is sad, but we had a good night and it was exciting." Senior Lilly Busey says, “It was just different because all eyes were on us and we came together as a team to make it a memorable night.”

Parent's night is always a special night but the seniors this year made it unique. Not only do they work together on the court, but they do an amazing job at bringing the team together as well.
