REGIONAL CHAMPS. On Monday, October 21, Valley Heights hosted Regionals. This is new to the KSHAA 2A postseason play. The Lady Mustangs defeated Ell-Saline, Trinity-Catholic, and Hillsboro in straight sets. The Valley Heights volleyball team played their game, stayed focused, and never got down on themselves or each other.
“Regionals prepared us girls to play confidently against teams we have never seen before. We kept a high standard of energy all throughout the evening, so I would say we are ready to play well together at Sub-State,” said junior, Josie Parker. The Lady Mustangs advance their record to 27-9 on the season and are ready for Sub-State on Saturday.
