ALL OUT, ALL GAME, ALL SEASON. On Friday, November 8, our Valley Heights football team will host the Sterling Black Bears for their Regional game. The team is extremely excited to have another home game due to the unwavering support of the community and fans. Most importantly, the football players are very thankful for each person who comes to their games and cheers them on to a Mustang victory. The Valley Heights Mustangs are currently ranked 3rd in the state for the West Division and have a record of 7-2. After Friday’s game, they hope to improve to 8-2.
Senior, Royce Ekstrum says, “We have had really good practices this week even though it was rainy and cold. I think we are ready for the game on Friday night!” Junior, James Bohlken says, “After our second loss of the season to Marion, we learned a lot from that game and we have put a lot of effort and work in this week at practice. Our upcoming game will be cold, rainy, and windy so we hope everyone cheers extra loud!” Kickoff is at 7p.m. come and cheer on our football team.
