THANKFUL. “Although Thanksgiving comes once a year, every day should be a day of thanks,” a quote by author Monique Hammond. When asked what people are most thankful for, the common response is friends and family. Librarian Kim Oatney says, “Thanksgiving means being grateful for my everyday blessings and that I grow each day to become a better person. I am most thankful for friends, family, and very thankful for my health.”
At Valley Heights, we are extremely thankful for our Mustang family and the continued support from the community. Every event from sporting competitions to concerts draw a large crowd made up of staff, students, and members of the general public. Each person is a reason to be thankful for all of their hard work put into the positive atmosphere created here at Valley Heights.
Remember to have a grateful heart and remind others how thankful you are for them. Spend less time on your phone and cherish your time with family and friends on your Thanksgiving break!
