UNWRAPPING CHRISTMAS CLASSICS. As December is starting up, it is time to start decorating trees, buying Christmas gifts, and listening to Christmas music. Although not everyone includes listening to Christmas music as part of their holiday festivities.
A survey was sent out to the students and staff at Valley Heights High School, asking them their opinion on Christmas music. Out of 46 responses, 87 percent of people said they listen to Christmas music and 13 percent don't. The majority of people also said the appropriate time for people to start listening to Christmas music is the start of December, and no time earlier. Finally the last question asked was what people's favorite and least favorite Christmas song is. The song that was the most popular was "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree,” by Brenda Lee and the song that was the most overrated was “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey.
As Christmas Day grows nearer and your holiday spirit is on the rise, go ahead and throw on your favorite Christmas classics... or don't.
