BLACK FRIDAY. Black Friday traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States. This is a day where millions of people spend a lot of money on different items. Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving. A poll was sent out to the staff and students at the high school, and of the people that responded 86.5 percent said they go Black Friday shopping. 10.8 percent of the people that filled out the form said they spent a thousand dollars or more on items with the majority of people spending between $100 and $250. 26 people said that they spend their money on fashion like clothes, shoes, and jewelry and the most popular stores that people shop at are JcPenney and Kohls. However, 73 percent of people said they go both in-store and online shopping. This year's Black Friday is on November 29th.
