SCHOLARS BOWL. Going through high school at Valley Heights, one is faced with many opportunities to get involved and try everything. One activity students can join is Scholars Bowl. Senior Harmony Conti, who has participated in scholars bowl for four years, says her favorite memory of Valley Heights Scholars Bowl is, “One time at a meet they asked us a question about which Caribbean Island produces the most coffee and I jokingly told John Haefke to say Java, he did and it was correct! We both busted out laughing out of surprise!” Junior Krista Porter also claimed that she decided to join the Scholars Bowl team because, “It is a lot of fun and a great way to test your knowledge.” The Valley Heights Scholars Bowl team is coached by Shannon Conti. She has made a lot of improvements to the program and continues to develop passionate and intelligent competitors. Our high school Scholars Bowl team has shown incredible dedication and teamwork. Their hard work has set them apart from other schools and we are excited to see their success this year!
