A CREATIVE CHRISTMAS. Valley Heights Art Club will be hosting a Christmas party on December 18th. It will be in the art room at 7 o'clock and there will be several fun Christmas festivities. The students will have the chance to create their own personalized Christmas candles, as well as playing various fun games and eating delicious holiday treats.
Art Club Vice President Ella Swearingen says, “Throughout the year, we have all worked very hard in the art room and deserve a chance to lay back and have fun. As an artist, all of the Art Club members have inspired me tremendously and I can’t wait to see what else they do!”
When asked how the Art Club has been going the past semester, Mrs. Miller says, “It’s been terrific, we just went on a field trip with a magical exhibit. If you ever have the opportunity, it would be worth visiting the Museum of Art and Light in Manhattan.” On this trip, the Art Club members visited the museum and were blown away by all of the different art forms and artists. After viewing a total of three floors, they finished off their day by going to the nearby Chili’s.
If you are in the Art Club make sure to be there on Wednesday at 7 for a festive evening with food, fun and games.
