EMPOWERING YOUNG LEADERS. At Valley Heights, the junior high has taken it upon themselves to start a student council. This organization is student led and sponsored by English teacher, Lana Stevenson. Junior high STUCO is more than just an extracurricular activity; it's a place for young leaders to develop skills and make a positive impact on their school community. The junior high student council, made of elected representatives from each grade, works to organize events, and create an environment that pulls everyone together. One of the events that junior high STUCO puts together is the annual junior high dance. This occasion brings fun and laughter to all the students. As these students continue to grow and learn, they carry with them the skills they have gained to prepare them for future success in high school.
