Easter

HOP INTO SPRING. This year, Easter falls on April 20. Easter is a significant holiday in the Christian religion, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It’s a time of renewal and hope, marking the end of Lent and the triumph of life over death. While many people attend church services to reflect on the religious meaning of the day, others celebrate in different ways, often blending religious customs with fun family traditions. One of the most beloved symbols of Easter is the Easter Bunny. Children eagerly await the arrival of the Easter Bunny, with part of the excitement being an Easter egg hunt. Families hide colorful plastic eggs, which are filled with sweet treats or small amounts of money, in gardens or homes. The hunt becomes an exciting race as kids try to collect as many eggs as possible before anyone else can find them. Senior Haily Stoudt says, “My mom usually does a scavenger hunt for Macy and I around the house.”
