CAREER CHOICES IN CENTRALIA. Juniors from Valley Heights and surrounding areas participate in a Career Fair at Centralia High School. On Tuesday, November 7, businesses and colleges nearby assisted students in deciding on a profession and career path. Various businesses present were Landoll Inc., Community Memorial Healthcare, CJ Foods, and John Deere. Colleges represented were Kansas State University, University of Kansas, Southeast Community College, and Salina Tech.
Juniors got to take a look at different careers and what jobs in the future would apply to their career choice. Madisen Hanson, junior, says, “After visiting a Police Department booth at the fair, it opened my eyes to job opportunities and I’m really considering being a state trooper.”
