As October winds down, scholarship deadlines are approaching. November 1 - Masonic Lodge Essay Contest, Wichita State, KU, November 5th - Elks, November 15th - Hagen. Keep checking with schools and organizations for other deadlines.

The football game versus Jeff County North has been moved from Friday, November 1 to Thursday, October 31. Game time for Thursday will also be moved up an hour to 6:00 pm start.

1A State Football Bracket
Sub-State VB in Brookville this Saturday. Be aware that there is road construction to deal with. K-140: road crew is currently paving through Brookville; there will be a pilot car east and west of town for the rest of the week, including Saturday. Plan accordingly.
There will be a JH/HS student pep bus going to sub-state VB Saturday. Leave time is 10:15 am. Students must sign up in the office by Thursday at 3:00 pm. Maximum number taking is 50. Students will have to pay their way in and any food or drink.
