Blood donations urgently needed! Severe winter weather has had a tremendous impact on blood donations already this year, with more than 150 blood drives forced to cancel causing over 5,500 blood and platelets donations to go uncollected. Right now, blood and platelet donations are being distributed to hospitals as fast as they come in. The Red Cross must collect more than 13,000 blood and platelet donations every day so that patients can continue to receive lifesaving treatments. Upcoming Blood Drive: Waterville Blood Drive Waterville Community Center Thursday, January 25 From Noon to 6 pm - Walk-ins Welcome
