Light up your vehicle or other transportation, if you choose, and come join the Christmas Cruise, sponsored by KAYS, NHS, FFA, and FCCLA. Santa will start the cruise, then be available in the bandstand for pictures (at a safe distance), along with Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and elves. Hot Cocoa, Candy Canes, and Gingerbread men will also be available. KNDY will be broadcasting for the event so tune in! See you Saturday night on the square!!
Valley Heights High School basketball make-up dates:
Jan. 26th at Doniphan West; Feb. 11th home vs Frankfort; Feb. 15th at Washington County.
USD 498 COVID-19 Update:

We weren't able to have Santa's Gift Shop this year but we want to make sure our Kindergarten - 6th grade families have a hand decorated "brown bag" under their tree! Thanks to our Colts Round-Up Afterschool Elves for helping decorate the bags! One student per family will be bringing one home tomorrow or Friday!

The Junior High basketball games scheduled for Thursday 12/17 with Frankfort have been canceled.

Due to recent positive test results, our high school boys basketball team is in quarantine. The game scheduled for tonight vs. Frankfort and Friday night's game vs D West will be rescheduled.

The monthly board meeting will be at the Valley Heights High School Library at 6PM tonight.
Due to the VH girls varsity team being quarantined, we will only have a boys varsity game on Tuesday. The game will start at 6:00.

We currently have two positive cases on the VHHS girls basketball team, and they have been placed in quarantine. Our Lady Mustangs will NOT be playing against Frankfort Tuesday evening or Doniphan West on Friday. With several pending COVID tests among our student body, please continue to check our social media and USD 498 website for updates on the status of the Junior and Senior High basketball games scheduled for this week.
We ask that you continue to practice all those things that have kept our numbers relatively low since Thanksgiving break......mask wearing, hand washing and social distancing. Let's enter into our Christmas break has healthy as we possibly can!

Mustang Fans, as you know by now KSHSAA is allowing only parents to start attending games. Masks and social distancing are required. All fans must enter through the front door of the building.
Adult tickets for JH games are $3 per person and $5 for HS games. Please bring exact change because we WILL NOT BE GIVING CHANGE. Any extra will be taken as a donation.
